GD4S and E.DSO , the association for European Distribution System Operators, are happy to invite you to their joint event  'The Truth about Sector Coupling', scheduled on 20th September. 

Sector coupling is a cornerstone component of energy system integration, an instrument to establish functioning links and interconnections between the various energy sectors and thus turn them into an integrated and organic 'whole'. This webinar aims to encourage and extend the debate on sector coupling and its challenges by exploring new and innovative ideas and technologies which could facilitate the coupling of the electricity and gas sectors. Questions such as "Does the current EU regulatory framework allow for efficient interaction between electricity and gas sectors?" or "How to close the gaps preventing the efficient linking of the electricity and gas sectors?"  will be discussed by our speakers including the European Commission as well as private and civil sector experts.
