GD4S is hiring its new EU Policy Manager!
In the context of further enhancing its remit and influence on EU energy policy and initiatives in the evolving EU energy landscape, GD4S wishes to recruit an EU Policy Manager, based in Brussels. This role is focused on leading the representation of GD4S and effectively championing and advocating to ensure recognition of its key role in the energy transition, initiating and delivering on major initiatives for GD4S and its members and ensuring alignment with EU climate targets and leading on communication initiatives to promote the role of renewable gases and the gas grid in meeting EU decarbonisation ambition.
You will lead and effectively manage all core activities and initiatives of this member-led association, engaging with third party consultants and service providers, as appropriate.
The EU Policy Manager will support and provide counsel to the president of GD4S in its high-level stakeholder engagement and bring the association’s engagement and communication strategies to the next level. You will develop and leverage members’ technical expertise on relevant issues and excel in advocating for GD4S and effectively communicating its policy asks in relevant expert meetings in Brussels, leveraging your strong networking and communication skills. You will also maximize cooperation with other DSOs associations for mutual win-wins, as appropriate.
