GD4S represents key actors of the renewable gases value chain and the energy transition. GD4S members are committed to contributing to the decarbonisation of the economy by making the necessary investments to ensure that gas grids support clean energy sources such as biomethane and are ready for green hydrogen. We therefore welcome the updated ambitions of the European Commission to boost the uptake of biomethane and hydrogen by 2030.

Brussels, 12th April 2022 - GD4S is pleased to announce that Morgane Goret-Le Guen has recently joined the association as Senior EU policy officer to represent the association in Brussels policy discussions and support its growing recognition by the European institutions as a key actor in the energy transition.
Short Biography
As the first Brussels-based GD4S team member, her arrival marks an important step in the association's fast-pathed development towards its professionalisation and establishment as a strong voice in the European policy debate.
The Executive Committee meeting held on 20-21 March in Barcelona was an opportunity to warmly welcome Morgane to her new position. It was also the occasion to exchange on the key contribution of GD4S to the European energy policy and on the role of gas networks and DOS in the energy transition.
Brussels, 2 February 2022 - Today, Gas Distributors for Sustainability (GD4S) held its Annual General Assembly in line with the association’s Statute and By-Laws'. During the meeting, outgoing President, Mr. Paolo Gallo, CEO of Italgas (Italy), oversaw the handover of his responsibilities to his successor, Mr. Narcis De Carreras, CEO of Naturgy’s Gas Distribution operator NEDGIA (Spain).
The Assembly was also attended by Leonidas Bakouras, General Manager of Edathess (Greece), Denis O'Sullivan, Managing Director of Gas Networks Ireland (Ireland), Dan Pantilie, CEO of Distrigaz Sud Retele (Romania), Laurence Poirer-Dietz, CEO of GRDF (France), and Gabriel Sousa, CEO of Galp Gás Natural Distribuição (Portugal).
