Gas Distributors for Sustainability (GD4S) is pleased to announce the appointment of Maria-Cristina Zaharia as Senior Public Affairs Officer in our Brussels office. Cristina brings a wealth of experience in EU and national energy policy, further enhancing GD4S’s advocacy efforts in the gas distribution sector.
Prior to joining GD4S, Cristina played a pivotal role at Distrigaz Sud Retele (GDSR), a key member of GD4S. Her contributions to EU advocacy in the energy sector have been instrumental in promoting a sustainable, secure, and affordable energy transition. Her expertise will strengthen GD4S’s engagement with European policymakers, reinforcing our commitment to shaping the future of energy distribution in Europe.
Cristina’s arrival follows the addition of Valentin Calfa to our Brussels team in mid-February. With their combined knowledge and experience, our team is now fully equipped to drive forward the priorities of gas distribution system operators (DSOs) across Europe.
