Overview
Hydrogen is considered renewable when renewable electricity is used in an electrolyser. Renewable hydrogen may also be produced through the reformation of biogas (instead of natural gas) or biochemical conversion of biomass, if in compliance with sustainability requirements.
Our Vision
Renewable hydrogen is an essential renewable gase to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the optimisation of the energy system, as they allow integration between the electricity and gas sectors.
Our ambition
Ensure that gas distribution networks are ready to convert or be repurposed, quickly and with limited investments, to transport pure hydrogen.
