Overview
The industry sector faces the dual challenge of transitioning to decarbonised energy sources while maintaining competitiveness. The industrial sector is a large contributor to the carbon footprint of the European Union. In 2021, emissions from industrial processes and product use represented 9% of the total GHG emissions in the EU.
Our vision
Molecules are essential to produce high temperature heat, required in industrial processes. The production of renewable gases and the utilisation and further development of gas distribution networks is therefore essential to achieve the EU’s decarbonisation ambitions for this sector.
Our ambition
Raise the importance of renewable gases and its infrastructure in the affordable decarbonisation of the industry sector.
